Day 1 began on a Tuesday, as Monday was a holiday. We had formation at 0345 to transport back to Camp Bullis. We arrived to Camp, dropped our bags, then began warrior tasks. We rucked through the hills of Bullis with full battle rattled (weapon, assault pack, and M16). We had CBRNE training, where we learned how to operate a decontamination site.
Day 2 we had land navigation instruction then practiced outside Camp. We had classes afterwards.
Day 3 was the Day Land Navigation test. The lane is probably the easiest I’ve done, as one could use terrain association the entire lane. All the tests are done in groups of 2. We were done early then returned back to our racks. We had our Night Land Navigation test at 0200, so we tried to catch as much rest as possible.
Day 4: began at 0130 for the Night Land Navigation test. We, again, finished our test early then returned to our racks early. After the test, we had two hours of combatives training. We then got our safety brief and returned to Sam Houston for the weekend.
